This handy cable allows you to program your Kenwood radio from your computer.
One end of the cable has an RJ12 (6 pin) modular jack plug which connects to the radio. The other end has a USB plug which connects to the PC's USB port. The cable contains a USB to serial converter, so the radio appears as a COM port on the PC.
Avoids driver problems often encountered with cheaper Prolific PL2303 cables, instead using the much better supported SiLabs CP2102 chipset and is guaranteed to work with the following operating systems:
