USB to RS422 serial interface cable

The USB-RS422-WE-1800-BT is a 1.8m long USB to RS422 converter cable.

Using the FT232R chip combined with an RS422 level converter, the cable is a CE and FCC approved product which is one of the simplest USB - RS422 solutions around.

Powered from the USB port, the RS422 signals are exposed on unterminated wires allowing the user to fit an appropriate connector matching their system needs.

The cable can be used with FTDI's drivers to provide a virtual COM port on a PC which is capable of communication rates with RS422 units from 300 baud up to 3 MBaud.

The USB-485C is a bi-directional USB powered USB to RS485/RS422 converter with built-in 120 ohm termination option, which makes a half-duplex RS485 or a full-duplex RS422 available to a PC via the USB port. The USB-485C a DB9 male connector on the RS485/RS422 port, and a USB type A female on the USB port. The adapter is powered from the USB port and no external power is needed. USB cable, two terminal blocks, and drivers are included in the package.
