USB to RS485 UART converter cable 6 ft. long with Tx and Rx LED's
for visual status of communication through the cable.
USB to RS485 UART Converter
The RS485-WE-6FT FTDI USB to RS485 6ft. serial UART converter cable uses the FTDI FT232RQ USB to serial UART interface chip that handles all the USB signaling and protocols.
This FTDI converter cable is USB 2.0 compliant and provides the easiest way to connect devices using a RS485 protocol to USB.
Our UART converter cable contains a circuit board utilizing the FTDI FT232R chip that is manufactured into the USB host connector end of the 6 ft. cable.
The clear molded jacket over the USB connector includes the integrated RS485 transceiver with Tx and Rx LED's indicators that give a visual indication of traffic through the cable. The converter cable is designed for use at the end of an RS485 network up to approximately 10m.
